Las Vegas--Microsoft Corp. and Harrah's Entertainment Inc. introduced a high-tech interactive bar table Wednesday that lets patrons order drinks, watch YouTube videos, play touch-screen games and even flirt with each other.
Harrah's CIO Tim Stanley uses the Microsoft Surface touch screen table at the Rio Hotel and Casino.
The tables offer Harrah's a new way to track its customers' habits and behaviors, adding to its sophisticated costumer rewards program that tracks users' gambling habits.
"Of all the goodies up our sleeves lately, this is one of the most dramatic," Tim Stanley, chief information officer of Harrah's, told The Associated Press.

Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. said today individuals who pay cash to register for certain events at the 2008 World Series of Poker Presented by Milwaukee's Best Light will be required to provide Social Security or Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs).
The requirement, a direct response to Title 31 of the United States Code that became effective for Nevada last July, will be imposed on individuals who pay cash for events with buy-ins of $3,000 or higher or whose cumulative cash wagers and buy-ins exceed $10,000 a day.
Players who do not have an ITIN may apply for one at the following link: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw7.pdf. They also may apply at the International Players concierge window in the tournament area at the 2008 WSOP, which will be held at the Rio(R) All-Suite Hotel & Casino May 30 through July 16. WSOP personnel will help players fill out and file ITIN requests.
